Francesco was born and raised in Italy, he started playing drums at the age of 14. He later studied percussion with Alessandro Napolitano, first at the Francisco Tàrrega Music Academy and then at the Accademia dei Due Mari of Tananto in Italy. During his studies, Francesco worked as a percussion teacher himself at the academy where he studied. The music academy also gave him the opportunity to produce his own music in the recording studio and to gain live experience.

He has thus developed his technical knowledge and improvisational talent in collaboration with many famous artists (e.g. Virgil Donati, Chris Coleman, Steve Smith, Vinnie Colaiuta, Mark Guiliana, Horacio Hernández, Gavin Harrison, Marco Minnemann, Dennis Chambers, John Bernard Riley, Dom Famularo, etc.).

He worked with various international bands from Taranto, Rome, Leipzig, Dresden, Chemnitz, Prague, Berlin including Dynamite, Toxic Priest, Scarnification, I Die Tomorrow and others. After practicing for 8 years, he continued his studies at the London College of Music (London College of Music Examinations) and in summer 2019 Francesco passed his exams.
Francesco’s main skills include double bass drumming, rudiments, polyrhythms and open-handed drumming.
