Agustin Strizzi has been a member of our team at thePlanetDrum since October 2013. This native Argentinian has over 12 years of music teaching experience under his belt. This includes working as a drum and percussion teacher in private and state-run music schools, as well as in high schools.
He graduated from the Technical Institute for Contemporary Music (ITMC) as a professional percussionist in 2003. His specialist fields include Latin American rhythms and arranging them for drums, as well as composition.
Agustin is interested in the origins of Latin American music, and has used his various study trips (for example to Cuba, Brazil and Uruguay) to broaden his musical horizons. Moreover, he has also appeared at numerous music festivals in Latin America, and worked as a session musician and composer for a number of musical productions.
Agustin has been trained in our thePlanetDrum teaching method and thePlanetDrum curriculum.
